The Technology Context
In sci-fi books we expect to see unfamiliar and futuristic technologies. However Martha’s first three books are set in the real world now, which raises questions about how some of the events that occurred could happen. An attempted overview of the technologies that made these experiences possible is briefly covered below. Most of this is nothing new, and is well understood by scientists, clinicians, military, security law enforcement and criminal organisations around the world. The technologies in my fourth book ‘That Time Will Come’ are not covered here, as they relate to the year 2350.
