Directed Energy Weapons

Most of the technologies discussed below can be categorised as DEWs. The realities of modern warfare mean that almost all countries now invest in development of DEWs. For example, in November 2020, China used microwave weapons against Indian troops during clashes over border disputes. For some years individual civilians in Western countries have been targeted by DEWs, and it has not been clear to them why or where the targeting has come from.

It has long been Russian military strategy to employ private armies located in targeted countries where Russia wishes to pursue its military interests undercover. Russian funding has gone to organised crime groups too, the object being to destabilise democracies in the West. Private militia and criminal syndicates are often unaware who is funding them. If they are aware, they use codes to conceal Russian involvement. For example, they use the term ‘United States’ when referring to Russia. Russia’s tactics are to attack civilians covertly using Directed Energy Weapons, rather than engaging directly with the military of countries it opposes.

The types of DEW technologies used in Martha’s first three books are described below.

Remote targeting of people generally requires an energetic ground base inside the country near where the target lives, to enable triangulation for exact targeting. Spies operating inside European countries and the US rely on the generation of energy fields within range of targets, without which remote attacks on targeted individuals cannot take place. The ground base is created by burying large powerful industrial magnets together.

You can see the location of humans through a wall using an infrared heat-seeking device. These devices can be operated remotely via satellite by perpetrators in IT work rooms. Remote sensing of the body’s bio data is a reliable way to locate a person. This needs bio data to be collected first. A common way is to put a trap in a drain used by an individual for washing, providing a biological signature that can be digitalised. Straightforward height and weight measurements come into this, so that if for example a target is lying in bed or sitting in a chair, the infrared image and the bio data image can be aligned.

It is possible to hire time on a commercial satellite to prove bespoke communications links to specific locations. Coverage 24 x 7 will require one satellite pass every two hours. But if it is not carried out legitimately then private satellite firms specialising in covert operations will most likely be providing the service. Ever wondered what is going on when yet another Russian ‘falls’ out of a window? It’s what happens when an extreme version of a microwave DEW is beamed at the target, heating water within body cells, making them feel they are being burned alive invisibly. Microwave beams can pass through closed windows and detect conversations. Putin is said to conduct secret talks in rooms without windows. Pulsed microwave attacks directed at the brain, a Russian favourite, can cause temporary or permanent brain damage. A ‘phaser’ device uses similar technology to wipe a person’s memory temporarily.

Data transmitted via satellite may use telemetry. Telemetry ‘commonly refers to wireless data transfer mechanisms (e.g. using radio, ultrasonic or infrared systems). It also encompasses data transferred over other media such as telephone or computer network, optical link or other wired communications like power lines.

High concentration carbon dioxide is used in abattoirs to kill pigs. A similar approach can be applied remotely using a carbon dioxide laser as a delivery agent to direct carbon dioxide gas droplets into the nasal cavity of a target. This method of assassination leaves no evidence. Martha was the target of such an attack, as described in her first book ‘Terror in Britain’.

These days most radios have digital tuning. Martha used to have a non-digital radio using frequency modulation tuned by turning a dial. Within an ultrasound environment Martha could ‘tune into’ the mind of the person talking on the radio. Listening to Stephen Hawking delivering a Reith lecture for the BBC on black holes was a revelation! Martha could also watch football matches by listening to radio commentators. When Martha ‘watched’ football via the radio, UK perpetrators started using fMRI to watch football through her eyes. (See the post on Synthetic Telepathy for more on this).

On several occasions described in my first book ‘Terror in Britain’, Martha noticed a shimmering channel like a mirage cut through the air, providing a tunnel or walkway from one location to another. This was used by perpetrators in their light bodies to access locations unobserved. The technology involves using a laser to heat the atmosphere. It has been suggested that a pulsed laser may convert air into plasma. On one occasion an Irish Republican movie photographer and her friends arranged a path into Martha’s living room, so that they could secretly go in there one night and watch a blue movie starring several senior male perpetrators, all of whom had stoma pouch prosthetics. The perpetrators had commissioned the photographer to film the movie for them. Martha watched a bit of the movie, which was quite funny. She also recognised one of the participants, who happened to live nearby.

Easy to use weapon preferred by unskilled perpetrators, this device is intended to intimidate targets because of its intrusive nature. Feels like a repeated pulse directed at a spot either on a chair or bed or on the body. A similar Russian military grade weapon is designed to interfere with walking, and can cause frail or elderly people to fall.
