Summary

The year is 2350. Global warming has left its mark, but free energy has brought prosperity to many countries. Advances in technology have enabled half the world population to emigrate to other planets. But an unexpected threat to human fertility leads to plans for evacuation of the remaining population. Adjusting to the cultures of other planets is not always a straightforward process, and for some, the thought of leaving is unacceptable.

As people leave the planet, dark forces emerge, intent on taking over the Earth. While all this is happening, ordinary people are trying to live their lives, despite facing extraordinary challenges. We follow the lives of two families caught up in the developing conflicts, through a series of events that leave a scar on human history. Ultimately, human relationships create bonds which transcend planetary boundaries, leading to a deeper understanding of our home planet and its place in the universe.

“A woman crouched in the darkness of the mountain cave; her eyes fixed on the shining idol before her. Water dripped from the rocks above, breaking the silence. Then she whispered: “Please Mother Kali, please hear my prayer.”

At the base of the idol a red light glowed, illuminating the statue, with its necklace of skulls, the many arms and protruding tongue. The woman, whose name was Brinda, fixed her eyes on those of the statue, as she mouthed her desperate plea: “Give me a son this time.”

The heat in the cave was oppressive. How many times had desperate women raised this prayer, seeking to justify their existence through the birth of a son? Unutterable feelings of anguish rose silently from the woman’s being. Tears poured down her cheeks. Somewhere, deep in the bowels of the earth, far below the Himalayan ranges, something shifted, as if echoing the woman’s prayer.

The sound broke through the ground like a bullet shot, echoing through the mountains. Brinda felt the shock as the cave rocked.
“Perhaps it’s an earthquake! The mother is angry!” Brinda thought.
The walls of the cave began to shake. Fear and guilt filled her heart.

“What have I done!” she cried, and gathering her belongings, she fled from the cave entrance, and began to make her way back to her village. The earth was moving on all sides, with stones falling around her as she hurried down the dusty path. Further up in the mountains a torrent of rocks hurled themselves down into the deserted valleys below. Above the snow line glaciers groaned and avalanches picked up speed, hurtling downwards. A large boulder landed on the path in front of Brinda, like an island in a fast-flowing river. With nowhere to go she cowered in terror behind it. Suddenly a huge black vulture appeared from above, and landed on the boulder, its dark wings outstretched as if to protect her.”

Earth Exodus

Earth Exodus

This book goes into the future to the year 2350. By now fifty percent of the world’s population have paid to emigrate to other planets operating at a higher vibratory energy level than Earth, offering better prospects such as permanent youth, immortality, and the ability to create from mind, removing poverty. On Earth, global warming has left its mark, but free energy has brought prosperity to many countries. However, human fertility takes a sudden dive when it is discovered that no more girl babies are being born. There are plans for the free evacuation of the rest of the human population to welcoming planets willing to take people in.

While Martha’s fourth book can be read on its own, we meet a group of aliens known as the Terramarsh who also appear in ‘Beyond Terror’s Reach’, along with their old allies from Silicon Valley, San Francisco Group.
